My husband and I agreed to leave work at home and checking phones was banned from our days out! It was great! We often get so caught up in our phones and forget to live in the here and now which brings me onto my favourite new find...
I am totally in love with the 6 minute diary! It is not your normal diary, there’s no place for writing appointments or recording daily events in the usual way.
It is a diary to reflect on wellbeing and happiness. To develop a positive mindset to life and show gratitude for the wonderful things in it.
Happiness is something most of us continually search for. I’ll be happy when...But in reality happiness is within. It is the small things in life, the minor details, the things we take for granted rather than the big life events.
The 6 minute diary asks you to reflect on a set of questions for 3 minutes in the morning and 3 minutes in the evening. I have loved taking this time out of my day to focus on gratitude, happiness and self care. It has also been wonderful to start and finish the day with a book rather than my phone!
So today I am thankful for my beautiful children who make me smile so much each day. My husband who unreservedly supports me in all that I do. And I am thankful for our family and friends who bring richness to our lives ❤️
